is a four-headed monster. The big bad Ni has left the linear roads of the French department of Ain, in order to live in a complex world paced by electrical sounds and varying poly rhythms. In its temple, shouts of the quartet make the windows crack, a stunning nervousness makes the walls stand and, finally, the strong foundations remove from ages to come all doubts regarding the durability of all these things. Inside, it is always like a squall: children run in all directions and parents dance around the bonfire. The waltz, the 4/4 time signature and verse and chorus structures take one last breath before being burned to ashes at the core of this fire. After two EPs and many terrific tour dates in Europe that have almost broken the stages, it is time for Ni to release a new album. Ni invites all those who like frantic riffs to a huge party that celebrates a sweet barbarism. No reply is expected.
3 years after Les Insurgés de Romilly, and after having spent some time with PinioL, the band is coming back with the new album Pantophobie. While being faithful to his predecessors, but probably a bit darker, Pantophobie explores various fears as a main theme. The massive production is dedicated to head-banging. With this 4th release (2 EPs and 2 LPs), the quartet crushes their cigarettes very hard, dig a hole into the ground, and leave the listeners in ashes. The band recorded with Herve Faivre, from Igorrr, and worked with Rémy Boy (Gojira, Secret Chief, Ezekiel…) for the mix.
Being a very impressive live band, Ni leaves no chance to curious newbies nor to experimented listeners, and it’s with a real joy that we will meet again with one of the most fascinating instrumental bands from the French and European noise rock scene.

La band è nata nel mese di aprile 2010. L'obiettivo musicale è quello di creare un suono che incorpora elementi influenzati da diversi tipi di musica estrema, come post-hardcore, post-metal e black-metal, ma senza limitare la ricerca personale ed evoluzione. L'intensità della musica è accoppiata con i testi, esistenziali e negativi: indissolubili dalla proposta musicale.
La prima uscita ufficiale risale al gennaio 2011, con lo split 7 "condiviso con la band post-grind italiana Hungry Like Rakovitz. Il disco ha due tracce, "Inestinto" e "Come il Buio", mentre un brano inedito chiamato "Speculare" è stato messo on-line per lo streaming. È stato stampato in 500 copie, 100 delle quali erano la versione in vinile oro numerata a mano.
Nel giugno 2012, gli O rilasciano, grazie a Grindpromotion, il loro primo full length, chiamato "Il Vuoto Perfetto". Il disco presenta nove brani inediti ed è stato anticipato da un video musicale per "Non è Vivo". L'album è stato registrato a Ravenna presso lo Studio 73 (Extrema, The Secret, Ephel Duath... ) di Riccardo "Paso" Pasini.
Nel frattempo, l'esperienza dal vivo è cresciuta condividendo concerti con, tra gli altri: Napalm Death, Unsane, Raw Power, Necrodeath, The Secret, Celeste, Big Business, Birds In Row, Forgotten Tomb, Jungbluth, Hexis, This Gift Is A Curse, Implore, Rorcal...
Dopo il cambio del batterista avvenuto nel 2013, in ottobre 2015 esce "Pietra". Un vinile one side con cinque tracce, registrato e mixato da Riccardo "Paso" Pasini e masterizzato da Alan Douches (Converge, Mastodon, Nile... ). "Pietra" è coprodotto da Grindpromotion Records e Unquiet Records.
Nel 2017 è uscita la seconda stampa di “PIETRA”. Una nuova versione serigrafata coprodotta da Monomentum Collective, Revolvermann Records e WOOAAARGH.
Nel 2020, esce “ANTROPOCENE”, il nuovo LP con 9 brani inediti prodotto in quattro versioni in vinile da Shove Records (Italia) e Zegema Beach Records (U.S.A. / Canada). L'album viene accolto molto bene dalla stampa specializzata e dal pubblico e permette alla band di continuare un intensa attività live sia in Italia che in Europa.
